Dear Friends and Colleagues of Challenge America,
Over the last year, our team has had the incredible opportunity to facilitate thirteen four-week long Virtual Music Therapy Retreats for Veterans all over the country coping with post-traumatic stress, military sexual trauma, and anxiety and/or depression as they relate to trauma. It has been an honor to witness firsthand the impact and healing power of music for our military community.
While we are immensely proud of our work and the impact it has made thus far, there is still much to be done for our service members, Veterans, and their families to inspire healing, connection, and hope. As we reflect on 2023 and look towards a new year full of new opportunities, we invite you to join our vision this #GivingTuesday to transform lives with the gift of music to Veterans nationwide.
Our organization connects service members, Veterans, and their families to resources and solutions that build community and give more purpose to their lives. From the beginning, we set out to challenge the status quo by designing and scaling innovative, evidence-based solutions to the needs of the military community - no matter where they live. By leveraging technology, the creative arts, and community solidarity, we are challenging America to think differently about how we serve our military.
