Planned Giving
Individuals interested in providing more long-range types of support for Challenge America may do so by including Challenge America in their estate plans with a future gift through a bequest, life insurance, or trust arrangement. Many planned giving options provide potential tax and estate planning advantages. Challenge America recommends consulting tax and legal professionals about planned charitable giving.
Bequests are donations made through a will or a living trust. A family or individual can will to Challenge America certain personal property or real estate, a specific sum of money or a percentage of estate assets.
Retirement funds may be the most significant asset for many families. Individuals may name Challenge America as a beneficiary for all or any portion of funds remaining at death.
Life insurance policies enable individuals to translate a relatively small commitment into a significant gift. By naming Challenge America as the owner and irrevocable beneficiary of an existing or new policy, it is possible for premium payments to be tax-deductible. A donor may include all or a percentage gift in a new or existing policy to Challenge America.
