Amy Grant and Vince Gill are honorary Co-Founders of Challenge America. In 2009, Amy and Vince launched Challenge America by hosting a benefit concert at the Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C.. Amy and Vince remain loyal and active supporters of Challenge America’s mission and activities.
Houston is the founder and CEO of Challenge America. Houston has more than 20+ years experience in non-profit management, which includes his role as CEO of Challenge Aspen, an adaptive recreation organization with a 4-Star Rating from Charity Navigator.
Dallas is the Director of Operations at Challenge America. Prior to joining us, Dallas was an Assistant Professor of Political Science and published numerous works on the role of nonprofit organizations. In his new role, Dallas heads up the development of Challenge America Academy as well as overseeing all other aspects of our daily operations.
Mack is a living legend in the music industry and we are fortunate to count him as a member of the team. Mack directs our Music Therapy Program for wounded service members and disabled veterans, which focuses specifically on the those who suffer from post-traumatic stress and traumatic brain injury.
Maggie is our Director of Research and Development. Before joining the team, she spent several years living abroad in Buenos Aires and in London. At Challenge America, Maggie leads the research and development efforts behind our innovative, evidence-based approaches to serving the military community.
