This Spring, Challenge America is partnering with VA Northeast Ohio Healthcare System (VANEOHS) and Cleveland Clinic Innovations, to launch the Challenge America: Makers For Veterans in Cleveland, OH. CAMVETS assembles teams of experts to create innovative solutions to the unmet needs of injured Veterans. These solutions aim to produce dramatic improvements in the daily lives of Veterans, their loved ones, and hopefully many others who face similar challenges.
The seven teams will meet April 25-27, 2019 for a three-day intensive workshop, called a “make-a-thon”, to actually build the working prototype solution for their Veteran teammate. These three days will be chock-full of activities, mentorship session, and most importantly, making stuff that will change these very deserving Veterans’ lives.
On the last evening on April 27th, we will hold the CAMVETS Closing Ceremony at the HIMSS Innovation Center in Cleveland to celebrate the creative technological accomplishments of the seven Veteran participants and their teams.
