October, 2025 CAVARTS Spotlight Feature: Ron Radmore
CAVARTist Ron is a U.S. Air Force Veteran (1967–1971) who discovered painting through the VA’s Whole Health Program during a challenging time in his life. What began as a therapeutic outlet quickly grew into a passion.
Inspired by the beauty of water, Ron now channels that inspiration onto canvas, finding joy, healing, and a renewed sense of happiness through art. 🎨

I got involved in Art through the VA's Whole Health Program. It has really helped me get through some very difficult times. My counselor, Gretchen, has been terrific !!

What inspires you to create art?:
Mostly water. Lakes, ponds, waterfalls, ocean etc.
What part of your life has benefited the most from your creative pursuits?:
I am a much happier person

Yes, I love to create. I have only been painting seriously for about 6 months. Once I get started things just flow.
What is your process or ritual to get your creativity flowing?:
It just happens
What does CAVARTS mean to you?:
It is a terrific site to get to meet other Veterans.
