Presented by Challenge America in partnership with The Writer’s Garret, this free online writing workshop is facilitated by CAVARTS member and Writer’s Garret Teaching Artist William Watson. The workshop is open to all Veterans and active-duty service members within the CAVARTS community.

Participants will explore a variety of genres to develop new writing skills, connect with fellow Veterans in an online community, and engage in meaningful personal growth. The workshop also offers opportunities to share and showcase written work. Sessions emphasize both the craft of writing and supportive strategies for processing intense experiences, encouraging healing through reflection and expression rather than avoidance. No prior writing experience is required.
