What inspires you to create art?:
My desire to create art is just there, undeniable. I am inspired by many things far and wide.
What part of your life has benefited the most from your creative pursuits?:
Self confidence.
Is it important for you to challenge yourself in your art? Tell us why or why not!:
Yes, it is what makes any artist more skilled.
What is your process or ritual to get your creativity flowing?:
I don't have an answer for this, it is whatever moves me at the moment.
What does CAVARTS mean to you?:
It's a place to share and connect with others who have been there, done that!
Our monthly theme is New Beginnings, but Karen submitted this earlier this year when we were celebrating Winter Wellness. Here’s what she had planned:
I will be walking outdoors when weather permits, and finish projects indoors when the weather isn't cooperating.
What words of inspiration do you have for your fellow CAVARTists?:
"My favorite thing about wonder, whimsy, and magic is they're not things to believe in...They are things to notice!"
I do not know whose quote that is, but I love it and share it often!
